Christmas shopping need not be a chore, it can be fun, honest !!

We all met up at Gloucester Airport at 10.30 boarded the R44 G-ILET and one hour later were on final approach to Battersea Helipad, having had some fantastic views over London on route. Ten minute taxi drive and your in central London in time brunch before hitting the shops.

At Battersea we were all given a brief by JJ the Air Traffic Controller who was most helpful and informative, he signed Carl off as an approved pilot for landing at Battersea in the future, without the need of an instructor along side.

After shopping it was back to the helipad for a flight back home, this time we flew east along the Thames passing all the sights such as Houses of Parliament, the O2 Dome etc before heading north back to Gloucester.

Fun day and shopping accomplished !!
